George Vanderbilt’s room is filled with furniture and artifacts inspired by the grand Baroque style, very fitting for a man of his refined taste living in the Gilded Age. Hidden among the many objects in the room is a clock of such detail, that our team of designers nearly mistook it for a bronze sculpture.
While the original includes intricate metal tooling and showcases a scene of Esther pleading before Ahasuerus, our large Gallery version highlights the unique starburst motif and hammered gold background found on the original. The center star and sunburst design is raised, along with the Roman numeral time track. An aged outer frame finished in Royale Cherry completes this stunning design that is sure to be the focal point wherever it is displayed.
A one-year warranty is included with this clock. One “AA” battery is required.
